Doctrinal Statement

• We believe that 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 is the gospel of grace given to us today and for the last (approximately) 2000 years. Believing that truth (simply placing one’s trust in it) is the only way to obtain salvation.

• We believe that Almighty God gave us his completed written word. In it he gave the key to understanding it. (2 Timothy 2:15)

• We believe in the one baptism of Ephesians 4 and 1 Corinthians 12:13 – the baptism by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ.

• We believe that we can do absolutely nothing to earn God’s favor (Ephesians 2:7-9); that there is nothing good in us and we deserve to spend our eternal life in hell because of inheriting Adam’s sinful nature and rejecting God’s gift of salvation.

• We believe that in choosing to trust God’s gift through his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, we obtain a heavenly future. (Ephesians 1:3)

• We therefore believe that members of God’s church, the Body of Christ, will live and serve him in heavenly places and not in the coming earthly kingdom to come, reserved for Israel, who will then be a believing nation and back under God’s program for them. (Rev. 21:12; 22:3)

• We believe the one true church is neither a building nor a denomination.

• We believe God is waiting for others to put their trust in the finished work of his Son, for he is building his church.

Eph.2:8

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Eph.2:9

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

2Tim.2:15

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

2Co.9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.
